Hello 👋🏻

Hi I’m Miriam and below is a little about me and how I work!

I’m a qualified psychotherapist and trained play therapist, offering compassionate, client-led therapy to children, teens, and adults. Whether we’re working through words, play, creativity, or conversation, I always meet clients where they’re at, adapting our sessions to feel safe, accessible, and meaningful for you.

Growing up with scoliosis and dyslexia, I knew from a young age what it felt like to be different, both mentally and physically. These experiences deepened my empathy and shaped my therapeutic approach. Although I'm not formally diagnosed autistic or ADHD, I do consider myself a highly sensitive person and relate to alot of autistic/ADHD experiences.

I have learnt in recent years to avoid sensory over-stimulation, and build a life that supports my differences. I do, and always will believe difference isn’t something to be fixed, it’s something to be understood, embraced, and honoured. I began my career as a Play Therapist, helping children navigate their emotions through creative expression.

Alongside this, I witnessed first-hand the challenges families often face when navigating neurodivergence, from missed diagnoses to feeling let down by support systems. Today, I continue to work online with clients of all ages, including children, young people, and adults.

Sessions are flexible and shaped around what makes you feel safe and comfortable, whether that’s creative expression, drawing, storytelling, or simply talking. So, whether you're a young person struggling with school or an adult navigating big questions about identity, purpose, or change, I’m here to help you make sense of your experience and move forward in a way that feels authentic to you.
