I know how exhausting it can be to spend years feeling different without fully understanding why.
As a late-diagnosed neurodivergent woman, much of my own journey has involved making sense of experiences that were often misunderstood or explained through a neurotypical lens. Receiving my diagnosis brought both clarity and self-understanding, and it continues to shape the way I work with neurodivergent clients who are navigating their own journey.
Alongside my own neurodivergence, I live with a chronic health condition and invisible disability, and I am also a parent to a child currently on the neurodevelopmental assessment pathway. These experiences have deepened my understanding of how identity, neurodivergence, health, family life, and the systems we navigate can all influence our wellbeing.
My approach is grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own lived experience. Rather than assuming what therapy should look like, I work collaboratively with you to find an approach that feels supportive, meaningful, and accessible. I value openness, authenticity, and curiosity and I aim to create to space where you don’t need to mask or justify yourself in order to be understood.
I have a particular interest and additional training in trauma, and I am passionate about understanding the ways that trauma and neurodivergence can often intersect. Many neurodivergent people have experienced misunderstanding, shame, rejection, burnout, or environments that required them to constantly adapt to fit in. I do not view neurodivergence as something that needs to be ‘fixed, but I do recognise the profound impact these experiences can have on a person’s sense of self.
My hope is that therapy can offer you a place where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted; a place where you can develop a deeper understanding of yourself, build self-trust, and move towards a life that feels more authentic and aligned with who you are.
When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my husband and young son, reading fiction novels, and indulging in wellness and holistic treatments.
